There's lots of folks looking for ways to earn a few more dollars each month to pay off bills, debts or perhaps to make enough to get a few things they've been wanting.  Some may want to start building a small business at home.  But times can be tough out there for many.  And most folks really don't want to go out to get a second (or third) job.

Here's a way you, your riding club, or someone with a website can refer visitors to our website in return for a generous commission paid on any products they purchase using your Affiliate ID.

Over the past 4 years that we've been developing this web business, we've had the idea that we could build a good reputation by offering good products at a fair price and treat people with respect.  Overall, we believe we've done that.  Lord knows we aren't perfect and have made a few mistakes along the way.  But we always try to make it right when something goes wrong.

With the foundation built, we are now ready to open up the doors to let others profit along with us.  And it's a pretty simple concept that will enable almost anyone with contacts to make some decent money.

While we've done all the hard work to build the website, develop the products, build processes to take orders, ship orders, handle all the credit card billing, etc. - we realize that lots of folks would be thrilled with the idea of making a commission on sales by referring their friends, colleagues, customers, etc. to our site.

Here's How The Affiliate System Works:

1. You read the Terms and Conditions and understand the legal aspects of the program.

2. You fill out an Affiliate Application

3. You will be given an Affiliate ID and an Affiliate Link.  You will also be given access to different advertising media such as banners, etc. to use.

4. You refer people (send visitors) to our website using your Affiliate Link.  We track these visitors by your Affiliate ID.  When one of them purchases any product on our website (online only) it will be registered as a sale using your Affiliate ID.

5. We take the order, process their payment, and do all the shipping, customer service, etc.  All you have to do is send the visitors and collect the commission!

6. At the end of each month, we will total all sales made by the visitors you referred and pay your commission to you via PayPal no later than the 15th of the next month.  You will be paid a 20% commission of all sales (not including shipping, handling or other fees).

7. We also track the number of times a visitor you send to us visits the site and keep a running total of purchases made.  You can log onto our affiliate support page and view the statistics at any time showing the number of visitors, number of sales, commission earned, etc. by date range.

As time goes on we'll have more support resources for you including emails you can send to any list you may have, various text links, new banners, etc.

Who Do You Know That You Can Refer?

Generally, the more horse-minded visitors you send, the higher the commissions you will make.  Who do you know that you can refer to us? Here's a few ideas:

1. All your horse-minded friends, riding partners, all the folks at your riding stable or club, etc.

2. An email list you may have access to of horse-minded folks.  [We do NOT tolerate spamming and will terminate anyone who does.]

3. Do you have a blog or a website that relates to horses in any way?  If so, put one of our banners on your website in a prominent location.  You can post blog entries and hyperlink our site with your affiliate link as part of the entry.

4. Do you frequent any forums?  If so, most forums will allow you to put a link in your signature that is appended to each post you make.  That link could point to our website with your affiliate ID.  You can also make forum entries and mention how pleased you are to read our emails or with products you've purchased and link to our site with you affiliate link.  You can do product reviews of what you've purchased and make reference to our site.  Starting to get the picture?  There's nothing more powerful than a first-person referral by someone who is thrilled with a product or service.  Even about the free emails we send.

5. You could hand out cards or mailers with your affiliate link on them and ask folks to visit our site using those links.

6. You could post links in some of the free classified ads or other free services where you can list business, etc.  Again - no spamming or illegal posting will be tolerated.

7. Get creative!  Always be looking for places to promote our site using your affiliate link or banners.  There's literally thousands of places to do it out there.  You'll start seeing more all the time as you become familiar with the process.

How Much Can I Make?

First, please understand that we can make no claims about how much you can or will make.  We do guarantee that we'll pay 20% commissions on sales made to visitors you send using your affiliate link.  I can also guarantee that you will make nothing if you do nothing.

In most cases the highest commissions will be paid to those who are able to get lots of folks to visit our site.  If you have a list of hundreds or thousands you can mail to then great!  If you visit forums, blogs, etc. and do reviews, etc. about our site or place a testimonial somewhere and you link to our site using your affiliate ID then great.

Let's look at a quick example:

If you send 100 visitors a month and 5 of them end up purchasing something for an average sale of $50.00 each, then the total sales attributed to your account for that month is $250.00.  Your commission on that would be $50.00.  Not bad for encouraging about 25 people a week to visit.  Note - these numbers are hypothetical and used only to show you how the numbers could potentially work.

As another example, let's say you have a blog or a website and can put up a banner ad.  Perhaps you get lots of visitors to your website and 300 people click on the banner ad and visit our site.  If you make 12 sales for an average of $50.00 then, for that month, your total sales would be $600.00.  Your commission would be $120.00 just for putting up that simple banner one time.  Like they say at the car dealer - your mileage may vary!

Your numbers may be smaller or potentially much larger.  It's up to you and how many visitors eventually find our site through you and what they buy.

Again - we make absolutely no claims that you will make anything.  I can guarantee you this - if you don't try and don't send anyone you'll make nothing.  In most programs like this only 10%-20% of the affiliates actually do something and a fiar number of them do well.  You have to decide if you're willing to put forth the effort to make it happen.
