1. Our Anniversary Sale

Tuesday I announced our Anniversary Sale.
Well, today is our actual Anniversary!
Thanks for 27 great years, Allyson.

Can I let you in on a little secret?  My wife
really doesn’t like to be mentioned in these
emails.  But, as I see it, she’s worthy of the
praise and once a year is fair.

And, so have you – my faithful readers of these
weekly horse tips.  We are offering only you these
deep discounts to celebrate this time with you.

Here’s how you can help us celebrate:

Go to the Videos/DVD part of our website here:

http://www.horsetrainingresources.com/DVD.html

You can click on and read through the descriptions
of each of our professional trainers.  Then select
“Add to Cart” for the ones you want.  Each of them
will be put into the shopping cart.

Then, to get your appropriate discount, use these
coupon codes:

2. Don’t Give Up

It’s hot and humid here and throughout the midwest.

I probably don’t have to tell you but make
sure your horses are getting plenty of fresh
water and have shade available.  Watch for
signs of stress.

It’t not a lot of fun to be out working
with the heat index hovering around 110 – 120.
But, things will cool down.  Hopefully, this
is short lived.

How are you coming with your horses now
that summer is here?  I’ve received quite
a few responses from those who are diligently
working with their horses and seeing results.

Results don’t always come quickly.  But I
assure you that if you persevere you will
make headway!  Don’t give up.

Do you have a lot of pesky issues to work
on?  Or perhaps want to start more advanced
training like reining or even tricks?

One thing I hear a lot is about safety
and respect.  Your horse simply must
respect you as leader and respect your
space.  Your safety, as well as the safety
of your horse, is paramount.

Whether you’re starting a colt or have
a 20 year old mare or gelding, you likely
have a lot of work to do with your
horses.

Groundwork, reining, building respect,
shying, dangerous habits and more?

Are you putting up with all kinds of
pesky problems that can be very frustrating?
Are you risking your safety around a horse
that bucks, rears, bites, kicks, crowds
your space or worse?

Are you and your horse lacking confidence
in each other and need some solid training?

Most of the time all we need is a little
bit of knowledge and time to fix a lot of
problems.  Horse training is all about
teaching the rider first, then the horse.

You can’t adequately teach the horse anything
if you don’t fully undertand the problem, know
how a horse learns and then know how
to apply that knowledge to teach the horse.

That sounds very basic, and pardon me if I’m
being a bit blunt here, but many horse
owners just don’t get it.  So many think
that if they just speak calmly and love
the horse that Mr. Horse will respond and know
what to do.

Sorry to bust your bubble if that’s what
you think but it just doesn’t work that
way.  You need to understand how they
think and have a plan to fix each,
individual problem, one at a time.

And that’s why we sell our DVDs featuring
profesional horse trainers who know
this stuff.  It’s their life.  It’s
what they do.  They know how to get results.

Here’s a frequent question I get:

“Charlie – I can’t afford $40 – $60
for a DVD or your $99.00 specials.

Can I just buy ONE at a lower price?”

Well, due to lots of things including
production, advertising, hired help,
web costs, fees, taxes, licensing costs,
etc. it is very expensive to sell a
single item a low price.

But we are once again offering you
an opportunity to do just that.

With our Anniversary Sale you can
save lots on just one DVD and, if you
choose to buy more, you can save even
more.

Don’t put off for tomorrow what you know
you should be doing today.  Especially
when it comes to your safety.

That reminds me of the old saying:

“A stich in time save nine.”

No truer words have been spoken about
horses as well.  Each little thing you
fix now will take you down the trail
later and you’ll enjoy it sooooo much more!

With each thing you teach them you are
also building a bond with them.  You’ll
both build a respect for each other in the process.

That alone will save you from all kinds of
problems in the future.

See how it works?  It’s worth taking the
time now to do it.

Pick out the ones you need for now, put them
into the shopping cart and then use either one
of these two Coupon Codes:

OK?  Ready to take on those issues and finally
get them resolved?  Click the link below:

Remember – Don’t Give Up!!

And – please email your successes and what
lessons you learned.  I’ll share them with
others to help encourage them.  Sometimes
that’s all we need – just a little encouragement
and reinforcement.

That’s it for today.  Stay safe out there.

Charlie

P.S. Remember – the Anniversary Sale ends
Saturday.  The coupon codes are A27 and A32.
Enjoy!

“I ordered the “Prof. Berry’s Illustrated Manual
in Horse Training about a year ago, and I refer
to it all the time!

I also LOVE getting your tips via email! Thanks!

Keep up the good work!
