Horse Training: You Don’t Need To Be A Pro To Succeed!

Horse Training: You Don’t Need To Be A Pro To Succeed!

Come in close and read this carefully…
You’re about to learn some important horse
  training principles.

“You Don’t Need To Be A Pro To Succeed”

Want to know a secret about training and
working with horses?

It’s something that can make a HUGE difference
in both your confidence and success with
your horses.

It can be a life-changing secret as you
prepare to work, train and ride your horses.

What is it?

Learning and doing one thing at a time.

Now, that may not sound like a huge deal
but I assure you that if you understand
the concept you can succeed.

Most folks who are new to horses think
they need to equivalent of BS degree to
train their horses.  It just tain’t true!

There’s a whole bunch of folks who send
their horses off to a “professional trainer”
because they think they can’t do it themselves.

But you better know who you’re dealing with
before you entrust your horse to their training.

There’s a whole bunch of marginal and very
poor trainers out there who can do more
more harm than good.

I’ve written lots of emails in the past about
what to look for in a trainer and what they
should be doing to help you understand what
YOU need to be doing as well.

Training the owner is just as important as
training the horse.

But I digress…I’ll dig out those emails
in the near future and go over more of
that again.

But here’s the truth…

If you approach your horse with only ONE
thing to work on (and you should always
only teach one thing at a time), then
there’s no reason you couldn’t study about
how to do that one thing and master it.

Once you have succeeded with that ONE thing,
go on to the next thing.

In a small amount of time you’ll have a
whole bunch of stuff under your belt and
your knowledge and CONFIDENCE will be
growing almost exponentially.

It is amazing but success multiplies, not
just adds.  I would suggest you try it.

Take two simple things you want to teach
your horse.  Learn what you need to learn
to teach the first one and go do it.

Be patient.  Don’t allow yourself to get
frustrated – stop the lesson before you
and your horse get to that point.

But keep at it and do it.

Once you’ve succeeded, learn and do the
second thing.  I assure you, the second
thing will go smoother than the first.

And here’s where the magic happens…

After that second success you’ll be
  ready to conquer the world.

  Your confidence and your
  HORSE’S CONFIDENCE
  in you will be growing.

That, my friends, is the secret to
horse training you can learn.  Do ONE
thing at a time and don’t go on to
the next thing until that is complete.

Along the way, as you add each little thing,
you’ll also be reinforcing those things
you already taught.

Your enjoyment and happiness increases
exponentially as you learn and work with
your horses.

And that is what every horse owner desires.

A well-mannered, respectful, and trusted friend
you can enjoy, whether you are riding or
just spending time together around the barn.

Can you do it?  Without a doubt.  And you
don’t have to learn it all at once.  Take
one step at a time.

What you need to do now is take action.

you one step closer to a better understanding
of how to handle your horses.  You simply can’t
loose by learning!
