The Dark Side Of Horse Ownership<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I have something very important to<br \/>\ntell you today.<\/p>\n<p>Be sure to read this entire email<br \/>\nbecause it &#8220;ALL&#8221; matters.<\/p>\n<p>Here we go&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s the worse part about having<br \/>\na horse.<\/p>\n<p>Yet&#8230;not a lot of people understand<br \/>\nthe danger.<\/p>\n<p>What am I talking about?<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m talking about your horse flippin&#8217;<br \/>\nout and goin&#8217; nutso.<\/p>\n<p>Something spooked him.<\/p>\n<p>A plastic bag.<\/p>\n<p>A noise you can&#8217;t hear.<\/p>\n<p>Something you can&#8217;t see.<\/p>\n<p>But he can.<\/p>\n<p>Heck, even on a horse that&#8217;s virtually<br \/>\nbomb-proof&#8230;that&#8217;s when you get hurt.<\/p>\n<p>You THINK he&#8217;s bomb proof.<\/p>\n<p>And to a high degree&#8230;maybe he is.<\/p>\n<p>But I guarantee you I can spook any<br \/>\nhorse with something.<\/p>\n<p>The problem is, you don&#8217;t know what&#8217;s<br \/>\ngoing to spook him.<\/p>\n<p>You could be trail riding on a horse<br \/>\nthat wouldn&#8217;t spook if you shot a Colt 45 next<br \/>\nto his ear.<\/p>\n<p>But&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re trail riding and a couple<br \/>\nhorses in front of him start going out of control<br \/>\nfrom sheer panic&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>What will your horse do?<\/p>\n<p>Will he be okay?<\/p>\n<p>How do you know?<\/p>\n<p>You know, the herd instinct is a very<br \/>\nstrong and powerful instinct.<\/p>\n<p>If horses in front of him are goin&#8217;<br \/>\nberserk&#8230;he may think to himself,&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My friends are frightened.<br \/>\nI should be too! HEEELLLP!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Suddenly, you&#8217;re on a horse that&#8217;s going crazy<br \/>\n(or just bucked off) and you don&#8217;t know why.<\/p>\n<p>You didn&#8217;t see it coming.<\/p>\n<p>The second it happened, you tensed up,<br \/>\nyanked the reins, screamed &#8220;WHOAAAAAA!!!&#8221; and&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>You just never know.<\/p>\n<p>But guess what?<\/p>\n<p>You SHOULD know!<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re going to be a horse owner,<br \/>\nyou have a responsibility to yourself, your<br \/>\nhorse, and those around you.<\/p>\n<p>That means learning all you can about<br \/>\nthis horse thing.<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps THE MOST important thing to learn<br \/>\nis how to help your horse conquer his fear of those<br \/>\nHorse-Eating-Monsters.<\/p>\n<p>Believe it or not, there&#8217;s a process.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s one you should do while riding your<br \/>\nhorse for several reasons.<\/p>\n<p>For instance, do you know what a spooking<br \/>\nhorse looks like?<\/p>\n<p>I call it the &#8220;Anatomy of Spooking&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The head comes up.<\/p>\n<p>The tail comes up.<\/p>\n<p>The strides may shorten.<\/p>\n<p>The jaw tightens.<\/p>\n<p>And so on.<\/p>\n<p>These signs are like the yellow light<br \/>\nin the stop light.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;WARNING: SOMETHING IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>But here&#8217;s another lil&#8217; goody you\u00a0 may<br \/>\nnot know.<\/p>\n<p>Before your horse&#8217;s head shot up and<br \/>\nhe started spooking&#8230;the problem started far<br \/>\nenough before that.<\/p>\n<p>Had you known what to look for, you<br \/>\nwould&#8217;ve known the horse was going to spook<br \/>\nbefore &#8220;HE&#8221; did.<\/p>\n<p>Can you imagine?<\/p>\n<p>Do you see the advantage of knowing that?<\/p>\n<p>That could give you the amount of time<br \/>\nyou need to handle the situation instead of<br \/>\nbeing unaware of it and suddenly you&#8217;re in the<br \/>\nmiddle of a nightmare tornado.<\/p>\n<p>Now I can&#8217;t describe in an email or two<br \/>\nhow to ready yourself for this.<\/p>\n<p>Several months ago, we filmed professional<br \/>\nhorse trainer, Vickie Weigel.\u00a0 She teaches<br \/>\nthe methods to use to both keep yourself<br \/>\nout of danger and how to train your horse<br \/>\nto not be afraid.<\/p>\n<p>The topic is &#8220;How To Teach Your Horse To<br \/>\nConquer His Fear Of Those Horse-Eating Monsters<br \/>\nSo You Can Ride With Confidence&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re interested, click on the following:<\/p>\n<p>http:\/\/horsetrainingresources.com\/dvd-weigel-monsters.html<\/p>\n<p>If you &#8220;ever&#8221; worry about being on a<br \/>\nspooking horse, not knowing what to look for<br \/>\nor what to do&#8230;then I urge you to at least<br \/>\nread about Vickie&#8217;s info.<\/p>\n<p>Thousands of folks get hurt, broken bones, necks,<br \/>\nsevere head injuries and sometimes killed because of<br \/>\nhorse accidents every year.<\/p>\n<p>MOST of these accidents are preventable.<br \/>\nIs it worth taking a chance?<\/p>\n<p>Again, go to:<\/p>\n<p>http:\/\/horsetrainingresources.com\/dvd-weigel-monsters.html<\/p>\n<p>OK&#8230;that&#8217;s it for today.\u00a0 Stay safe around your horses!<\/p>\n<p>Charlie<\/p>\n<p>P.S.
