href=\"http:\/\/www.horsetrainingresources.com\/beery.html\">http:\/\/www.horsetrainingresources.com\/beery.html <\/a><br \/>\n<o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong>A bit of Nostalgia\u2026..<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p>Many call Jesse Beery <span>\u00a0<\/span>\u201cThe Most Famous Horse Trainer of All Time\u201d.<span>\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p>Here\u2019s why:<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p>Back in the late 1800\u2019s and early 1900\u2019s there were a series of excellent horse trainers that emerged.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>Lots of well-proven and very useful methods were developed and many books were written on the subject.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>Things were different in that time \u2013 they used horses for everything then and learned to train and work with them as a necessity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p>If you\u2019ve been a student of horse training for very long you may have heard or read some of the works by Beery, Hayes, Carrol, Thorn, Youatt, and many others.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p>But out of this crowd was one lad who started working with horses at a very young age and continually studied them.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>He was unique in that he was able to start classifying horses and the training methods that would be required for each just by the shape of their heads.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>He fine-tuned his observations and training over many years of working with and training literally hundreds and, eventually, thousands of horses.<span>\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p>Out of this came his published works about the Four Dispositions of Horses.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p>Jesse was different.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>Through his experiences, observations and developing excellent, non-harmful ways of training, he mastered the horse training methods.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p>Jesse Hits the Circuit:<o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Jesse went on the road all over the <st1:country-region w:st=\"on\"><st1:place w:st=\"on\">U.S.<\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region> giving shows under the big tent proving to <span>\u00a0<\/span>crowds of hundreds his training expertise.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>He would challenge the locals to bring their hardest to train horses and he would work them right in front of the crowds.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>Books are filled with stories of these events.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p>Jesse then started the Beery School of Horsemanship in <st1:state w:st=\"on\"><st1:place w:st=\"on\">Ohio<\/st1:place><\/st1:state>.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>He wrote his famous \u201cIllustrated Course on Horse Training\u201d along with many other books.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>But it was his horse training books that became famous.<span>\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p>These eight, small, blue books were sold as a mail order course starting back in the early 1900\u2019s.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>They were sold as late as the 1960\u2019s until the <st1:place w:st=\"on\"><st1:placetype w:st=\"on\">School<\/st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st=\"on\">Horsemanship<\/st1:placename><\/st1:place> was closed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p>I have had dozens of folks who have been around horses for a few decades write me and tell me about how they remember using <st1:place w:st=\"on\"><st1:state w:st=\"on\">Berry<\/st1:state><\/st1:place>\u2019s \u201clittle blue books\u201d and how excited they were about reading and using them.<span>\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p>But the bottom line on each of these letters was this:<span>\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cBeery\u2019s methods always worked\u201d.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>That\u2019s a testimonial one doesn\u2019t have to ask for.<span>\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p>This product sells itself.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>I have some of the original sales flyers that Beery used to send to his potential customers.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>Back in the early 1930\u2019s the course cost about $34.00.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>He often had bundles of other books he would include such as his Saddle Horse course and Animal Breeding course.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>What would that $34.00 be in today\u2019s dollars?<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p>Hundreds of Thousands of Horses Trained:<o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Beery\u2019s course has been responsible for training over 300,000 horses world wide.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>That, my friends, is an amazing number.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>That is why the claim has been made that he was the most famous horse trainer of all time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p>His methods have been copied and used by many famous horse trainers of today. <span>\u00a0<\/span>Many of what\u2019s being called \u201cnatural horse training\u201d methods are either a direct copy or an off-shoot of his methods.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.horsetrainingresources.com\/beery.html\">http:\/\/www.horsetrainingresources.com\/beery.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p>Jesse also developed the Pulley well the course works and, knowing that the methods work just as well today as they did 100 years ago (our horses minds haven\u2019t changed), we decided to re-print the complete Beery course.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>We have the reprint rights to entire training program.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p>I had professional writers re-type the entire course, book by book, and then had the original illustrations scanned and literally recreated the entire course using today\u2019s technology.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>We initially created Adobe PDF files and sold the books as bindings.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>And I believe I found the best solution\u2026.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p>A Complete New Format With Spiral Binding<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p>As I looked through my own library of other courses and of those I have seen in book stores, I found a common thread.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>Many study courses are printed with spiral bindings or put into a 3-ring binder.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>I liked the idea of a 3-ring binder but was afraid folks could loose pages over time.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>So, I opted for the spiral binding.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>And I\u2019m glad I did!<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p>The spiral binding allows much easier use of the course.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>It opens and lays flat and, in fact, can even be folded back on itself to take up less desk space or lap space.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>I had them put thick spacers between the 8 volumes so it\u2019s easy to find each book.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>I had the pages reformatted some so they are easier to read.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>It\u2019s like a complete new work.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p>I also printed the two bonus books separately and include them in the bundle.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>All three books are shrink-wrapped before they are sent to you.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>The two bonus books are \u201cThe Arabian Art of Taming and Training Wild and Viscous Horses\u201d and \u201cBreaking and Training Colts\u201d.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>Both are excellent texts.<\/p>\n<p
