If you get on a horse with a<br \/>\nsore back you&#8217;re just askin&#8217; for trouble.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, pay attention to his actions.<br \/>\nIs he disrespectful or just maybe hurting<br \/>\nfor the day?<\/p>\n<p>If he&#8217;s hurting, better to address it<br \/>\nthen and there rather than get on and silently<br \/>\nthink to yourself, &#8216;Ah&#8230;it&#8217;ll be alright.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>But if you find yourself thinking,<br \/>\n&#8220;Every time I get on that horse he<br \/>\ngives me trouble when I &#8216;X&#8217; and I&#8217;m tired of<br \/>\nit.&#8221;&#8230;then you should not ignore it.<\/p>\n<p>If that&#8217;s the case, be sure to address<br \/>\nthat before you go trail riding unless you&#8217;re<br \/>\nsure you can deal with his behavior alright.<\/p>\n<p>Just pick a day where you can spend 2,<br \/>\n3,4 or 5 hours working out the problem.<\/p>\n<p>If you don&#8217;t deal with it and help him<br \/>\nthough it, it could be THE thing that caused an<br \/>\naccident while trail riding.<\/p>\n<p>And if you&#8217;re like me (in your 40&#8217;s, 50&#8217;s or older)<br \/>\nyou break more like an old egg than a green stick.<\/p>\n<p>The older I get, the more I focus on safety.<br \/>\nBut that&#8217;s a mindset everyone should have despite<br \/>\nage.<\/p>\n<p>Linda Braddy is big on this.
