LAST DAY for the Special on OLD Horse Movies online<\/p>\n<p>Do you like old horse movies, western movies and TV shows?<br \/>\nGet access to over 45 movies and shows online PLUS<br \/>\nyou&#8217;ll get 3 Bonus downloads immediately.<\/p>\n<p>=======================================================<\/p>\n<p>1. &#8220;Training Secret #3 &#8211; Can You Feel The Pressure?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Today, I reveal Secret #3 of the series to being<br \/>\na successful horse trainer.<\/p>\n<p>It doesn&#8217;t matter if you want to do it<br \/>\nprofessionally or just wanna know what to do.<\/p>\n<p>Secret #3 is this:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Horses are &#8216;into pressure&#8217; animals.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s it.<\/p>\n<p>But here&#8217;s what it means for us.<\/p>\n<p>When your horse feels pressure he&#8217;ll have<br \/>\na built-in tendency to push back.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve ever pushed on a horse and he<br \/>\nwouldn&#8217;t budge or he pushed back&#8230;this is why.<\/p>\n<p>Just like it is natural for your horse<br \/>\nto eat, it is natural for him to push against<br \/>\npressure.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, he has to be taught to &#8220;yield&#8221; to<br \/>\npressure. \u00a0Just this subtle yet powerful piece of<br \/>\ninformation often stops the frustrations of horse<br \/>\nowners.<\/p>\n<p>Often, this is blown by an impatient horse<br \/>\nowner because this takes time to do and the horse<br \/>\nowner doesn&#8217;t understand that.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s say you want to teach your horse<br \/>\nto yield to your leg pressure.<\/p>\n<p>Do you get on the saddle and start with<br \/>\nyour leg?<\/p>\n<p>You can if you like a workout, can hold<br \/>\nyour leg in a position for a l-o-n-g time and have<br \/>\nthe patience of Job.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, do it from the ground. \u00a0Every<br \/>\nthing taught from the ground transfers to the<br \/>\nsaddle. \u00a0It may have to be refined&#8230;but it still<br \/>\ntransfers.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, if you start by teaching your horse<br \/>\nto move his forequarters to the right, start by<br \/>\nputting a little pressure on his left side. \u00a0Apply<br \/>\npressure in the area just behind his left elbow.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re still unsure, go ahead and put<br \/>\nthe saddle on and get on him. \u00a0Put your left foot<br \/>\nforward a little.<\/p>\n<p>Notice where you&#8217;re touching the horse when<br \/>\nyou apply pressure.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s where you&#8217;ll apply the pressure from<br \/>\nthe ground when teaching him. \u00a0You need to apply the<br \/>\npressure in the same area from the ground as you will<br \/>\nfrom the saddle.<\/p>\n<p>Otherwise, Mr. Horse won&#8217;t &#8220;get it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Same goes for applying pressure to move<br \/>\nhis hindquarters, and so on.<\/p>\n<p>Never, never, ever (did I say &#8220;never&#8221;?)<br \/>\nstart teaching to move from pressure by applying<br \/>\nheavy pressure.<\/p>\n<p>Always start with light pressure. \u00a0You<br \/>\nultimately want your horse to move from light<br \/>\npressure.<\/p>\n<p>If you teach him to move from heavy pressure,<br \/>\nyou will wear yourself out!!!!!<\/p>\n<p>Teach him to move from light pressure. \u00a0Any<br \/>\ntime you apply a few ounces of pressure from a leg<br \/>\naid or a rein pull&#8230;you want Mr. Horse to react.<\/p>\n<p>This takes time and patience to teach but<br \/>\nis crucial in horse training.<\/p>\n<p>Also, when you apply pressure, try to make<br \/>\nthe applicator of pressure as similar to the aid as<br \/>\npossible.<\/p>\n<p>In other words, when you apply pressure with<br \/>\nyour foot just behind his elbow, do your best to<br \/>\nreplicate the aid.<\/p>\n<p>And that means you&#8217;ll likely be using your<br \/>\nhand to replicate what your foot will feel like. \u00a0So<br \/>\nwhen using your hand to teach moving from pressure,<br \/>\ntry to make it feel like what your foot will feel like<br \/>\nwhen the horse feels it.<\/p>\n<p>Does that make sense?<\/p>\n<p>It helps to see it being done by a professional<br \/>\nshowing you how so you understand the process.<\/p>\n<p>One of the best examples I can think of<br \/>\nin showing this is from Sam Burrell.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/horsetrainingresources.com\/dvd-samburrell.html\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/horsetrainingresources.com\/dvd-samburrell.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sam is one of our featured trainers. \u00a0He goes over<br \/>\nthis in a LOT of detail and how to do it.<\/p>\n<p>Watch Sam do it &#8211; it&#8217;ll create a dramatic change<br \/>\nin how you work with your horse and you will be<br \/>\namazed at what YOU can do!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/horsetrainingresources.com\/dvd-samburrell.html\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/horsetrainingresources.com\/dvd-samburrell.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>====================================================<\/p>\n<p>2.
