I can assure you that our society will change<br \/>\naround us and the way we travel, use computers, etc. will be different.<\/p>\n<p>Obviously, technology will continue to march on as we steadily increase<br \/>\nour development of new products with new ideas, scientific breakthroughs, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Look back 100 years ago &#8211; my we&#8217;ve come a long ways in travel and<br \/>\njust about every technology front.<\/p>\n<p>My father grew up on a dairy farm and delivered milk by horse<br \/>\nand wagon as a kid. Horses were a major part of life back then.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s no doubt we understand horse anatomy, physiology, and just<br \/>\nabout every major life-sustaining aspect of horses a lot better now<br \/>\nthan we did 100 years ago.<\/p>\n<p>However, through all that, the horse&#8217;s brains,<br \/>\nmuscle system and overall nervous system hasn&#8217;t changed. How they<br \/>\nlearn and how we control the horse hasn&#8217;t changed.<\/p>\n<p>So you ask&#8230; &#8220;Charlie &#8211; where are your going with this?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Well, I&#8217;ll tell ya&#8230;..<\/p>\n<p>A 100+ years ago (and a few thousand years before that!) we relied<br \/>\non horses for transportation, to get work done, plowing, hauling, etc.<\/p>\n<p>We handled them every day. We were VERY familiar with them&#8230; A good,<br \/>\nwell trained horse was extremely valuable to any family and farm.<\/p>\n<p>Life on the farm and travel for many completely relied on the horse.<\/p>\n<p>The methods they used to train horses then are just as valuable today.<br \/>\nThe horse has not changed! The vet will tell you that a horse&#8217;s brain,<br \/>\nguts, nerves, and muscles are essentially the same.<\/p>\n<p>So&#8230; here we are in the 21&#8217;st century. Horses need to be trained and<br \/>\nbad habits need to be fixed. We need to control our horses just like<br \/>\nthey did a century ago.
