<strong>THANK YOU <\/strong>for your service\u00a0to our country!<\/div>\n<div>Folks, please take time to reflect on the<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">sacrifices that all our Veterans, along with<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">their families, have made for us and much<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">of the world.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Many countries and peoples are free because of<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">US Veterans. \u00a0Thousands of souls have been lost<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">to secure the freedom of millions around the world.<\/div>\n<div>If you know or meet anyone in any of our<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">armed services, please take time to thank them.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Each and every one of them deserve our thanks and<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">praise no matter what their duties are. \u00a0They are<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">all serving on our behalf.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Our freedoms, and the freedoms of many around the<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">world, are due to the brave men and women who<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">put self-interests aside and fought to preserve<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">the freedoms we enjoy.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Many of you have heard me speak of my father.<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">He was raised on a dairy farm in SE Pennsylvania<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">and in his early years used horse-drawn<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">wagons to deliver the milk to the stores and<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">to all those on their milk route.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>He has shared multiple stories about how<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">well trained many of their horses were to pull the<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">wagon, knowing where to stop on the routes and<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">how his Dad would fall asleep on the wagon on<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">the way home and the team would take him home<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">safely by themselves.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>My father left college in his 3rd year to join the<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">Air Force and to fight in WWII. \u00a0Over the<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">years through WWII, the Berlin Airlift,<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">Korean War, etc. &#8211; he flew dozens of<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">different fighters and bombers &#8211; mostly<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">prop planes and some of the early jets.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>When we visit the Air Force museums with all the<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">old planes on display he has multiple stories<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">to tell about many of them. \u00a0Stories from funny<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">to tragic and the loss of lots of lives.<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">It&#8217;s sobering to listen to as he details the<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">events from being engaged in battle. \u00a0Stories<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">of his friends being shot out of the sky. \u00a0Stories<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">of getting back alive even though your plane<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">is riddled with bullet holes.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Stories of thanking God for another safe<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">mission and getting closer to the end of the war.<\/div>\n<div>Later he transitioned to the missile program and<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">then ended up doing planning for the deployment of<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">the famous SR-71 Blackbird reconnaissance plane.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>No other time in history would it have been<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">possible to go from horses to missiles and<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">supersonic flight. \u00a0Totally amazing&#8230;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>While we are living somewhat comfortable daily lives<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">there are thousands and thousands of men and<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">women putting their lives on the line for us.<\/div>\n<div>All over the world &#8211; not just in the MidEast.<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">Thousands have been separated from their families<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">for 6-12 months at a time. \u00a0<strong>Both the service men<\/strong><\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\"><strong>and women AND THEIR FAMILIES deserve our<\/strong><\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\"><strong>highest gratitude.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong><\/strong>All around the world &#8211; on bases, in the air,<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">on land, on and under the seas &#8211; they are on<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">their posts to preserve our freedoms.<\/div>\n<div><strong>That&#8217;s why we say &#8220;Freedom Isn&#8217;t Free&#8221;.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong><\/strong>Our church is adjacent to Offutt Air Force Base<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">in Bellevue, Nebraska. \u00a0Many of those<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">who attend our church are in the service.<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">We both honor and support the families who<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">attend while Moms and Dads are deployed.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Please pray for our service men and women.<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">They need our prayers and support in a huge<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">way right now.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>We are in very trying times. \u00a0Many are questioning<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">just exactly where we are headed and what our<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">allegiances and priorities are. \u00a0Pray for them.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>More horse tips later. \u00a0This is more important.<\/div>\n<div><strong>If you are a Veteran &#8211;
