\u00a0What is the Thanks and Giving all about?<\/p>\n<p>I need to let you know that:<\/p>\n<p>This message will not be &#8220;politically correct.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I would rather hold to the founding principles that<br \/>\nhave stood the test of time and to those beliefs<br \/>\nI have. \u00a0Founding Principles and Beliefs &#8211; ALL<br \/>\nDivinely Inspired.<\/p>\n<p>We could do no better than return to them in<br \/>\nthis day and age.<\/p>\n<p>Please don&#8217;t take this wrong but if<br \/>\nthat offends you &#8211; you have three choices:<br \/>\n&#8211; understand that&#8217;s who we are and read on,<br \/>\n&#8211; delete this email, or<br \/>\n&#8211; unsubscribe from this list.<\/p>\n<p>Every horse tips email we send has an<br \/>\nunsubscribe link at the bottom.<br \/>\nWe&#8217;ll part in peace.<\/p>\n<p>So what is Thanksgiving? \u00a0A day when we, as a<br \/>\ncountry, as a nation of predominantly Christian<br \/>\nbelievers, give thanks to God for His rich<br \/>\nblessings on this country.<\/p>\n<p>If you live in this country and enjoy our<br \/>\nfreedoms and are enjoying the opportunities<br \/>\nyou have here&#8230; then please give<br \/>\nthanks where thanks is due.<\/p>\n<p>EVERY person who legally comes to this country<br \/>\nhas equal opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>No other nation in the world has been such a<br \/>\n&#8220;melting pot&#8221; to provide equal opportunity to<br \/>\nall. \u00a0A country of hope, opportunity and<br \/>\nstrength. \u00a0Not &#8220;hope and change&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>We are a country that gives more to the rest<br \/>\nof the world than all other countries combined.<br \/>\nAt least, that was the way we have been.<\/p>\n<p>We have an established set of laws and regulations<br \/>\nwe are all supposed to abide by. \u00a0And we are all<br \/>\nequal no matter where we came from.<\/p>\n<p>Please understand that we have a strong heritage<br \/>\nof sacrifice by those who came to the shores of<br \/>\nthis land and endured much &#8211; all based on the hope<br \/>\nof a better future. \u00a0People who fled persecution<br \/>\nand risked all to start something better.<\/p>\n<p>Our forefathers sought Divine guidance in the<br \/>\nprocess and, against many odds, were able to<br \/>\novercome adversity and endure.<\/p>\n<p>And today we are free ONLY because of the risk<br \/>\nthey took and it now rides on the back of the<br \/>\ntoil and spilled blood of thousands who came<br \/>\nafter them.<\/p>\n<p>We owe them all so much and need be genuinely<br \/>\nthankful. \u00a0When&#8217;s the last time you heard<br \/>\nthat in the media?<\/p>\n<p>We should do no less than fall on our knees<br \/>\nand thank God for this rich land and system of<br \/>\ngovernment we have &#8211; even as corrupt as it<br \/>\nhas become.<\/p>\n<p>There is so much unrest in today&#8217;s world.<br \/>\nBe thankful for what we have and be prepared<br \/>\nto defend it in light of current events.<\/p>\n<p>But yet it seems all we hear in the media is<br \/>\n&#8220;turkey day&#8221;, football and Black Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Where&#8217;s the Thanks? \u00a0Where&#8217;s the remembrance<br \/>\nof all those who risked their lives for our<br \/>\nbenefit and all that we inherited in the process?<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m wondering how many of the current generation<br \/>\nof 20+ year olds and younger actually know what<br \/>\nThanksgiving really is? \u00a0Warning &#8211; don&#8217;t seek<br \/>\nanswers to that questions from the<br \/>\nmedia &#8211; you&#8217;ll get a very distorted view.<\/p>\n<p>Any more we can&#8217;t stand for anything because we<br \/>\nmight offend someone. \u00a0Hogwash. \u00a0To not stand for who<br \/>\nwe are, to not acknowledge our Christian heritage,<br \/>\nto pretend that we can&#8217;t make a statement of faith<br \/>\nbecause not everyone believes like we do is like<br \/>\nhanding over our country to the enemy.<\/p>\n<p>I pray for men, women, moms, dads, business owners<br \/>\nand leaders who will take a stand despite what<br \/>\nthe rest of world thinks. \u00a0We didn&#8217;t achieve<br \/>\ngreatness by being a &#8220;me too&#8221; country.<\/p>\n<p>Nor will we continue to be great if we<br \/>\nfail to stand for what we were founded on<br \/>\nor fail to acknowledge God and seek His<br \/>\nprotection over us.<\/p>\n<p>In as early as one more generation we won&#8217;t<br \/>\nhave any semblance of heritage left and we&#8217;ll<br \/>\nend up going the way many other countries that<br \/>\ndon&#8217;t stand for anything anymore.<\/p>\n<p>Lord help us, open our eyes, and let us<br \/>\nsee what&#8217;s really happening.<\/p>\n<p>We have so much to be thankful for and every<br \/>\ncitizen of this great country needs to stop<br \/>\nand be thankful for it in some way.<\/p>\n<p>Our government, as flawed as it may be, is<br \/>\nstill the best in the world. \u00a0We have a lot of<br \/>\nchallenges in front of us and have lots of<br \/>\nmis-directed politicians and special interests<br \/>\nwho seemingly want to take this country down.<\/p>\n<p>I pray we can find men and women of character<br \/>\nto restore those principles we were founded on.<\/p>\n<p>I pray we can elect leaders who will stand up<br \/>\nfor this country and put the country and its<br \/>\npeople first &#8211; instead of lining the pockets<br \/>\nof the special interests and lobbyists.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t care what party they are &#8211; doing the<br \/>\nright thing shouldn&#8217;t need a party affiliation.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve never seen corruption this bad and<br \/>\nif we don&#8217;t clean house fast we&#8217;re headed down.<\/p>\n<p>Pray for this country. \u00a0Pray for our leaders.<br \/>\nPray they are shaken to the core and will put<br \/>\nrighteousness ahead of self interest.<\/p>\n<p>Onward&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>So what are you thankful for?<\/p>\n<p>Take a few moments and think about that. \u00a0Try<br \/>\nfocusing on the positive things in your life<br \/>\nrather than all things the world tells you that<br \/>\nyou should have. \u00a0Food, shelter, clothing,<br \/>\nhealth, work?? \u00a0How about God&#8217;s grace?<\/p>\n<p>I like Dave Ramsey&#8217;s response when asked<br \/>\nhow he&#8217;s doing. \u00a0He responds:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Better than I deserve&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Without God&#8217;s grace my life would be pretty ugly.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m thankful for our troops around the world who<br \/>\ncontinually secure our safety in a world where<br \/>\nmany want to destroy us. \u00a0Please pray for them<br \/>\nand for their families for all their sacrifices.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s thousands of families who are apart this<br \/>\nThanksgiving because Fathers, Sons, Moms and<br \/>\nDaughters are deployed half way around the world for<br \/>\nOUR benefit. \u00a0Pray for them all.<\/p>\n<p>I am thankful for my family. \u00a0For a loving wife<br \/>\nwho gives her all for us &#8211; as a wife, as a mother<br \/>\nof 5 and a home school Mom. \u00a0(She&#8217;s an angel)<br \/>\nAnd for my five kids (15 &#8211; 33) &#8211; who all have<br \/>\naccepted the Lord as their personal savior.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m thankful for living in a country where I have<br \/>\nthe opportunity to risk personal funds, blood,<br \/>\nsweat and tears to start a business and have<br \/>\npersonal gain through it. \u00a0It doesn&#8217;t come with<br \/>\nany guarantees. \u00a0Both the rewards and the losses<br \/>\nare mine (except the tax part, that is&#8230;.).<\/p>\n<p>For those of you receiving this message &#8211; Thanks.<\/p>\n<p>From my family to yours, thanks for your interest and<br \/>\nsupport for our business. \u00a0We strive to provide<br \/>\nproducts and services that are helpful, useful,<br \/>\nat a fair price and try our best to serve you with respect.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re not perfect but will always try to make<br \/>\nit right if we fail.<\/p>\n<p>So there ya go. \u00a0My Thanksgiving Blessing to<br \/>\nall of you. \u00a0Thanks for reading.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ll get back to regular horse tips on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime &#8211; enjoy friends and family. \u00a0Take<br \/>\na few moments to express your gratitude to those<br \/>\naround you for all your provision and for the<br \/>\nblessings you&#8217;ve been given.<\/p>\n<p>Encourage one another in the Lord and lift up<br \/>\nthose around you who need it. \u00a0We all need the<br \/>\nsupport of other like-minded folks to stay alert,<br \/>\nfight back the enemy and thrive.<\/p>\n<p>Lord bless you all. \u00a0Happy Thanksgiving!<\/p>\n<p>Charlie<\/p>\n<p>P.S.
