This is<br \/>\nalso a good reminder when buying an older horse also.. Take out a pen and paper.\u00a0 Write down two or three high priority<br \/>\ntraining problems you&#8217;ve been having with your horse that you would<br \/>\nlike to solve right now.\u00a0 It can be anything &#8211; biting, rearing, picking<br \/>\nup his feet, getting him to take a bit&#8230;. whatever it is that&#8217;s giving<br \/>\nyou problems.\u00a0 Go ahead &#8211; do it &#8211; write them down NOW!<\/p>\n<p>2. Write down a reasonable date by which you would want to get each problem<br \/>\nsolved by.\u00a0 Now don&#8217;t say tomorrow &#8217;cause you and I both know it won&#8217;t<br \/>\nhappen that fast.\u00a0 Let me suggest a week to 10 days for each one.\u00a0 Maybe<br \/>\nfigure a month for 2 or 3 things.\u00a0 It will depend on how much time you&#8217;ll<br \/>\nhave with your horse but don&#8217;t give the excuse that you can&#8217;t work with your<br \/>\nhorse.<\/p>\n<p>Just remember &#8211; if you don&#8217;t plan and take this seriously and make<br \/>\ntime to attempt to work on it &#8211; well &#8211; it ain&#8217;t gonna happen.\u00a0 Commit the<br \/>\ntime to doing something about it.\u00a0 I assure you that many things will only<br \/>\ntake a few minutes two or three times to fix.<\/p>\n<p>3.
