In fact, some of<br \/>\nyou have been with us since we started<br \/>\nin early 2006.<\/p>\n<p>Many of you have received many hundreds<br \/>\nof horse tips, along with the special emails<br \/>\nwe&#8217;ve sent at different events during the year.<br \/>\nAll without charge.<\/p>\n<p>Whether you joined yesterday or years ago,<br \/>\nwe want to say <strong>&#8220;Thanks&#8221; for being there<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>And, thanks for your business and notes of support.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For those of you who are new, you&#8217;ll find that<br \/>\nwe don&#8217;t hide our faith and beliefs. We don&#8217;t,<br \/>\nin any way, show preference to anyone who<br \/>\nbelieves like us or differently than us.<\/p>\n<p>Everyone is welcome and <strong>we don&#8217;t discriminate<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> at all based on faith, origin, sex, horse<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> breed or riding style ;&gt;)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Act in a civil manner and we&#8217;ll welcome you.<\/p>\n<p>But you&#8217;ll also find that we aren&#8217;t necessarily<br \/>\n&#8220;politically correct&#8221;, either. Please understand<br \/>\nthat this is who we are and how we live our lives.<\/p>\n<p>Nor do we separate our personal and business<br \/>\nlives. We operate our family and our business<br \/>\non the same values, beliefs and morals. (I only<br \/>\nwish that most other businesses would do the same.)<\/p>\n<p>Personally, I like to know who I&#8217;m dealing with.<\/p>\n<p>We are a family of Christian believers. We have<br \/>\n5 children from 16 to 35. Two are still at home.<br \/>\nWe home school and will graduate another one<br \/>\nthis year.<\/p>\n<p>I am pleased to say that all 5 of my children<br \/>\nhave accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.<br \/>\nNext to our own salvation, we feel that is<br \/>\nTHE most important thing we could do &#8211; to lead<br \/>\nour children to the Lord. All of life&#8217;s issues<br \/>\n(that matter) will fall in line after that.<\/p>\n<p>Every one in our family is heavily involved in<br \/>\nour church (or churches where they live), multiple<br \/>\nministries, missionaries and community services.<br \/>\nI now serve on staff part-time at one the larger<br \/>\nchurches in the Omaha metro area.<\/p>\n<p>We are probably unique this day and age when so<br \/>\nmany people think they have to tip toe around<br \/>\ntheir faith and cannot express their beliefs.<\/p>\n<p>We don&#8217;t bend our message or make allowances<br \/>\nin the way we run our business to suit someone<br \/>\nelse&#8217;s beliefs or non-beliefs. <strong>Our readers and<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> customers can freely choose who they want to do<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> business with and we&#8217;re about as transparent about<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> who we are as can be!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are blessed. It&#8217;s a lot of work and we&#8217;ve<br \/>\nrisked just about everything to make a go of it,<br \/>\nbut the Lord has blessed the business overall<br \/>\nand we continue to change and grow. Finances are<br \/>\ntight but we don&#8217;t give up or slow down.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re tired &#8211; in a good way &#8211; from building,<br \/>\ngrowing, and investing in the future.<\/p>\n<p>While it&#8217;s been a challenge in these changing<br \/>\neconomic times. we&#8217;ve adjusted. I still believe<br \/>\nthat if we invest in folks by giving away our<br \/>\nhorse tips, book downloads, etc. that they will<br \/>\neventually do business with us when they<br \/>\nhave a need and the funds to do it.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ll continue doing business this<br \/>\nway until we are proven wrong.<\/p>\n<p>We would hope that you&#8217;ll feel comfortable doing<br \/>\nbusiness with us once you get to know, like and<br \/>\ntrust us. We honestly hope to earn your business.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;-<\/p>\n<p>OK &#8211; enough about who we are.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Christmas:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Allow me to offer a few thoughts<br \/>\nabout Christ and Christmas &#8211; the REAL<br \/>\nreason for this email and the Reason for<br \/>\nthe Season.<\/p>\n<p>First &#8211; please pray for our service men and<br \/>\nwomen who are deployed away from home at this<br \/>\ntime. And pray for their families who are<br \/>\nsacrificing right along with them.<\/p>\n<p>We owe our highest gratitude to these<br \/>\nfamilies who have or are now serving this<br \/>\ncountry and securing our freedom. As<br \/>\nthe son of an Air Force pilot who didn&#8217;t<br \/>\nsee his Dad for months and months at<br \/>\na time, I salute you and say thanks.<\/p>\n<p>Next &#8211; pray for our leaders &#8211; from the<br \/>\nPresident and his cabinet all the way<br \/>\nto down through the legislators and courts.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s real obvious that there is corruption<br \/>\nfrom the top down. And it doesn&#8217;t seem to<br \/>\nmatter what political party you&#8217;re from.<\/p>\n<p>Corruption doesn&#8217;t follow political parties<br \/>\nbut rather reflects the hearts of those serving.<\/p>\n<p>This hasn&#8217;t changed in a few thousand years.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s no secret that our country, along with<br \/>\nthe countries in Europe and around the<br \/>\nglobe, are consumed with debt, financial<br \/>\nmalfeasance, a welfare state, and a lack<br \/>\nof common sense. It&#8217;s sickening to watch,<br \/>\nonly to understand that it will all come<br \/>\ncrashing down eventually. Maybe soon.<\/p>\n<p>History is a great teacher here. Why should<br \/>\nwe expect a different result? We best<br \/>\nprepare ourselves and families for it.<\/p>\n<p>I fear for the future of my children and<br \/>\ngrandchildren. Lord Jesus, come quickly!<\/p>\n<p>So much of society is willing to allow evil<br \/>\nto rein. And call good, evil. The very<br \/>\nChristian foundations this country was<br \/>\nbuilt on are being challenged daily.<\/p>\n<p>If we cease to be a God-fearing people then<br \/>\nour days are numbered as a country.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>So what does this mean for you?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>My only conclusion is this:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>If you haven&#8217;t invited Jesus Christ into your<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> life as Lord and Savior then you need to do<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> that now.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you are a Christian and aren&#8217;t living<br \/>\nthe Christian lifestyle, then you need to<br \/>\nre-evaluate things and straighten things out.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve fallen away from what you know<br \/>\nis true then now is the time to commit<br \/>\nto turning around now.<\/p>\n<p>What better time to do this than now! At<br \/>\nthe time we celebrate our Lord&#8217;s birth.<\/p>\n<p>Want to know the truth? While I&#8217;d love to<br \/>\nsell you lots of horse training DVDs, books,<br \/>\nand related products, <strong>the most important thing<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> you need in your life right now is to the have<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> the assurance that YOU will have eternal life.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>There is <em>NOTHING<\/em> more important than that<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Your job, your horses, your possessions, even<br \/>\nyour friends and family &#8211; all of it comes<br \/>\nsecond to YOUR assurance of eternal life.<\/p>\n<p>You see, we are all sinners. Left to ourselves,<br \/>\nwe are all wretched beings. ALL of us have<br \/>\ndone things, said things, are doing things and<br \/>\nthink things that are wrong. Things that are evil<br \/>\nor morally wrong.<\/p>\n<p>You know in your heart that is true. Each<br \/>\none of us has a sinful nature. We were all<br \/>\nborn into sin since Adam and Eve.<\/p>\n<p>But heaven is a perfect place. And therein<br \/>\nlies the problem. How do we, as sinners, enter<br \/>\ninto a perfect heaven where Christ reins?<\/p>\n<p>My friend, it is through the birth, death and<br \/>\nresurrection of Christ Jesus our Savior. HE<br \/>\npaid the price for our transgressions, HE took<br \/>\nour sin to the cross on our behalf. He, and<br \/>\nHe alone, paid for our salvation.<\/p>\n<p>Many of you reading this are Christian believers.<\/p>\n<p>But many of you are not. Perhaps you&#8217;ve been<br \/>\ntold of the plan of salvation or perhaps not.<\/p>\n<p>What is most important right now is:<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;What are you going to do about it?&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;s calling you now. He&#8217;s knocking on the<br \/>\ndoor of your heart. Open the door and let him<br \/>\nin and accept him as Lord of your life.<\/p>\n<p>This is the most important thing you could do<br \/>\nright now. You see, we don&#8217;t know what<br \/>\ncould happen to us in the next few minutes,<br \/>\ndays or months ahead. Individually, we don&#8217;t<br \/>\nknow if we&#8217;ll see tomorrow or not.<\/p>\n<p>If you haven&#8217;t accepted the Lord as Savior<br \/>\nin your life you can do it right now. Say<br \/>\na simple prayer like this:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Lord Jesus, I admit I am a sinner and need you<\/em><br \/>\n<em> in my life. I want to spend eternity with<\/em><br \/>\n<em> you. Lord, please forgive me of my sins and<\/em><br \/>\n<em> come into my heart.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>You said in Romans 10:9 that if we confess with our<\/em><br \/>\n<em> mouths that Jesus is Lord, and believe in our hearts<\/em><br \/>\n<em> that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Lord, transform me and take control of my<\/em><br \/>\n<em> life that I might please you.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>God, thank you for offering the gift of your<\/em><br \/>\n<em> Son that I might be saved. Amen.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>That, my friends, is the most important<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> prayer you could ever say.<\/strong> And once you<br \/>\ndo, you&#8217;ll want to share that with your<br \/>\nfamily and friends<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>If you said that prayer just now, please<br \/>\nlet me know. Send me an email.<br \/>\nThanks,\u00a0and congratulations!<br \/>\n<strong>Christmas is about Christ.<\/strong> You&#8217;d hardly<br \/>\nknow it as you look around these days.<\/p>\n<p>Please, be diligent about keeping Christ<br \/>\nin your Christmas. Let it be evident in<br \/>\nyour life &#8211; to your family, friends and<br \/>\nwork. He&#8217;ll reward you greatly as you serve Him.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n<p>So, perhaps not the email you expected today<br \/>\nfrom a horse training business. But nothing<br \/>\ncould be more important to your life and to<br \/>\nme than to know your heart is right with the Lord.<br \/>\nEverything else will fall into proper perspective<br \/>\nonce that happens.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lord bless you and your family in this<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Christmas season. And may He direct your<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> steps throughout the coming year.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Here&#8217;s a quick horse tip for you:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>As you go out to work with your horse, have<br \/>\na very specific thing you want to accomplish.<\/p>\n<p>Then, just before you start, ask the Lord<br \/>\nto help you understand your horse, to give<br \/>\nyou insight into the horse&#8217;s thoughts and<br \/>\nreactions and to direct your voice, temperament,<br \/>\nand actions as you train him. Ask the Lord<br \/>\nto keep you safe. You&#8217;ll be amazed at the<br \/>\nresults you can get by approaching the horse<br \/>\nwith the right attitude and understanding.<\/p>\n<p>Proceed with gentleness yet firmness as<br \/>\nnecessary.
