Do You?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Here&#8217;s a great letter from April:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>See if you can sense her enthusiasm and how much<br \/>\nshe is enjoying working with her horse.<\/p>\n<p>Her note is a real encouragement for all of us.<\/p>\n<p>You can learn a lot just reading her letter and<br \/>\nunderstanding where her heart is.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Hi Charlie,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I have my answer already! \u00a0I had the question of trailering a colt.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The good news is I have already trailered my yearling fairly well.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>It was a difficult experience for him. \u00a0It was not something he<\/em><br \/>\n<em>was or could of been prepared for. \u00a0I sure wished I could of but<\/em><br \/>\n<em>circumstances called for him and his mother to be moved quickly.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The cool thing is when my yearling arrived at his new home he was<\/em><br \/>\n<em>tired and all the prep work I have done with him for months, has<\/em><br \/>\n<em>paid off! \u00a0He was afraid but trusted me! \u00a0He was scared but<\/em><br \/>\n<em>followed me!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Even though this was new to both of us, all I have learned and<\/em><br \/>\n<em>applied has been rewarded with an awesome new experience!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I can&#8217;t stress enough that people need to spend time with their<\/em><br \/>\n<em>horses and be patient. \u00a0Develop the relationship and trust with<\/em><br \/>\n<em>their horses. Rome wasn&#8217;t built in a day.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Horses truly know when you&#8217;re impatient. \u00a0I know we have busy lives.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>I do. \u00a0I spend 15 minutes some days and 3 hours some other days.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>They know I love them. \u00a0I feed them, protect them and groom them,<\/em><br \/>\n<em>I also ask things of them and they now enjoy working with me.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>All I can say that spending time with your horse and being patient<\/em><br \/>\n<em>with them is the answer.
