If you look at the ground, then that's\r\n  where you'll end up.\r\n\r\n  Good motivation to 'not' look at the\r\n  ground, huh?\r\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>\r\nNext, shoulders back.<\/strong><\/span>\r\n\r\n  Why?\r\n\r\n  Besides being good posture, it makes\r\n  you sit upright.\r\n\r\n  If your shoulders are forward, your weight\r\n  is forward.\r\n\r\n  If your weight is forward, your horse\r\n  will be heavy on his forehand. That makes it\r\n  harder for him to turn, spin, jump, etc.\r\n\r\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Next, heels underneath you.<\/strong><\/span>\r\n\r\n  Have the stirrup in the balls of your feet.\r\n\r\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Next, elbows in.<\/strong><\/span>\r\n\r\n  Don't do the floppy chicken thing!\r\n\r\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Next, watch yourself when riding one handed.<\/strong><\/span>\r\n\r\n  Often, people ride one handed and their\r\n  opposite shoulder rocks back.\r\n\r\n  You'll start to lean back and put pressure\r\n  on your lower back - that's not good.\r\n\r\n  It's like walking upright.\r\n\r\n  You ride like you walk - upright and straight.\r\n\r\n  These are <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Diana Quintana's <em>\"How To Ride A Horse\"<\/em><\/strong><\/span>\r\n  instructions.
