Madonna Injured In Horse Riding Accident
Horseback Riding Can Be Dangerous!
I just read a new blip about Madonna getting injured in a fall while horseback riding this past weekend.
Now – trust me -I have NO interest in Madonna or her talents on stage or off. I am a horse person. And this story got my attention.
What’s interesting is how this accident happened…..
Madonna’s spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg said,
“The accident occurred when the horse Madonna was riding was startled by paparazzi who jumped out of the bushes to photograph the singer, who was visiting friends”.
I JUST wrote an article about Does Your Horse React or Respond?
Clearly, paparazzi jumping out of the bushes is a scary thing to both the horse and rider and is completely irresponsible. The photographer should be booked.
But it does highlight the need to work with your horses to be able to ride-through and control these types of events – because they happen.
Madonna’s horse experiences gets the headlines. Actually, anything Madonna does gets headlines.
When it crosses over into horseback riding safety then it gets my attention. And not before…..
