What Horse Training Problems Do You Have?

What Horse Training Problems Do You Have?

I imagine you’re like most of us horse nuts….

You’d like your horse to be well-behaved, responsive and able to
almost “read your mind” when you go to work with him, ride, show him, etc.

‘Fact is, though, that they’re not machines but rather 1,000+ pounds
of muscles and bone with their own mind and natural instincts.

Just as Andy discusses above about why a horse bucks – due to the
instinct of fear – horses exhibit all kinds of behavioral issues due
to these instincts, previous handling, accidents, etc.

To successfully train a horse – one must understand these instincts
and know how their minds work.

Understand these things and you can successfully train any horse.

If you’re dealing with problems such as rearing, kicking, bucking,
biting, shying, running out of control, etc….  then there are
standard ways to handle each problem.

Think about where we are in history.  How many millions of horses
has man dealt with and had to train and overcome these problems?

Chances are 99.999% that ANY problem you have with your horse has
been solved before.

That fact should be a relief to any horse owner.  You see, knowing
your problem is not unique means that the solution is out there.

You just have to find it and apply it.  And you don’t have to agonize
over it any more.

Did you ever feel really stressed or worried about something, wondering
if anyone could help or understand your problem?

I have…  and I have allowed myself to be bothered by it, and let
it continually nag at me.  It wears you down.

Then, you find the solution, frequently a very simple solution, and
you feel a great sense of relief.  And you wonder why you let it
bother you so much?

Much of horse training is like that when we don’t understand WHY a
horse reacts the way they do.  Or why we can’t seem to figure
them out.

Understand their instincts, understand how their minds work.

It’s the entire basis for the Jesse Beery Horse Training Course.

That’s why it has been so successful for over 100 years now.

I promise you this:  If you take time to study the material and
learn Beery’s concepts, then apply his methods as he clearly
describes – it will work for you.

Beery says: “Any Problem Can Be Cured” and then proceeds to show
how to do it.

If you’re looking for a 30 second fix and won’t read and understand
Beery’s methods then please don’t buy it.  It won’t work for you.

Nothing will work with that expectation or lack of effort.

Horse training can be hard work.  But it can also be extremely rewarding.

Learning the principles of successful training methods will serve you
for life and you’ll be able to use the skills on any horse you have
in the future.

Take a look at the Beery course.  It just might be what you need to
regain control of your horse and fix those nagging problems.

I know this – no one ever told me they were sorry they spent the
time to work with and train their horse.

The relationship you build between you and your horse gets
stronger and stronger and the trust builds between you.

It’s a great feeling to ask you horse to do something and he
responds.  And you respond and encourage him.  It keeps getting better.

Start now.  There’s never been a better time.

Stay safe out there…  see you on the trail.

P.S. It’s mid-April.  It’s blowing and snowing here in Nebraska.

But there is hope – it’s supposed to be in the 60’s or even
higher next week.

Go out and work with your horses.  Work on small things if that’s
all you can do right now.  In the process you’ll be building that
bond and continually improving the respect from your horse.
