We All Need It – Today Is The Day

Included below is the text of the Easter email I sent to my email lists.

It is not directly related to horse training or riding but has everything to do about who I am in Christ, my family and, ultimately, our business.

No horse tips today – we’ll get back to horses
tomorrow.

Today is Easter Sunday, the most meaningful
day to a Christian believer.

You see, without the death and resurrection
of Jesus, we wouldn’t have hope.  Without his
sacrifice, we wouldn’t have atonement for our
sins.  The fact that Jesus sacrificed his life
for me and you so the we could have eternal
life is reason we celebrate Easter.

I would urge you to reflect on what Jesus Christ
has done for you.  Consider your own situation,
examine your heart and perhaps you, too, will
come to the realization that you need to
accept Jesus Christ as savior as I have.

Perhaps you are wondering why I would include
such a message in a horse training and
riding email?

Because we all need a Savior.  Everyone of us.
Without Him, we have no way to be forgiven
for the sins we committed.  And without
forgiveness there is no way we can enter into
heaven.  Jesus Christ paid that price
for you and me.

All I ask is that you stop and think about
what Christ is to you.  Take a few minutes
and thank Him for the price He paid for you.

If you haven’t accepted Him into your heart,
please do so now.  It would mean everything
to me if you did.  But more importantly,
it would mean eternal life for you.
